We collect device information and browser type, IP address and location data, website usage analytics (collected via Google Analytics and Google Firebase), and cookies and similar tracking technologies.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

2.1 Platform Operations

We use your information to facilitate transactions between buyers and sellers, process payments and manage accounts, provide customer support, and verify seller business credentials and identity.

2.2 Communication

4.1 With Other Users

Seller business information is visible to buyers. Transaction-related information is shared between buyers and sellers. Reviews and ratings are publicly visible.

4.2 With Service Providers

We share information with Stripe for payment processing, shipping partners for delivery services, Hostinger for platform hosting and infrastructure, Google Analytics and Google Firebase for usage insights and analytics, and technical service providers for platform maintenance.

4.3 Legal Requirements

We may share information when required by UAE law or legal proceedings, to protect the rights and safety of our users, or to prevent fraud or illegal activities.

5. DATA SECURITY

5.1 Security Measures

We implement industry-standard encryption for data transmission, secure servers and regular security updates, access controls and authentication protocols, and regular security audits and monitoring.

5.2 Payment Security

Payment information is processed by Stripe, a certified payment provider. We do not store complete payment card details on hubl servers. All transactions are encrypted and secure.

6. DATA RETENTION

6.1 Retention Periods

Account information is retained while your account is active. Transaction records are retained for 7 years as required by UAE law. Marketing data is retained until you opt out. Technical data is retained for 2 years for analytics purposes.

6.2 Data Deletion

Account data is deleted within 30 days of account closure. Some information may be retained longer for legal compliance. Anonymized data may be retained for analytics.

7. COOKIES AND TRACKING

7.1 Cookie Usage

We use essential cookies for platform functionality, analytics cookies to understand usage patterns (Google Analytics, Firebase), and marketing cookies for personalized advertising (with consent).

Data is hosted on Hostinger servers within the UAE and GCC region. Some service providers (Stripe, Google Analytics, Firebase) may process data internationally. All international transfers comply with UAE data protection requirements.

Our platform may contain links to external websites or seller websites. hubl is not responsible for the privacy practices of these third-party sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any external sites you visit.

10. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Our platform is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we will promptly delete their account and associated data. Parents or guardians who believe their child has created an account should contact us immediately at hello@hubl.shop.
